In a few months the APA’s Fair Elections Committee will begin the process of reviewing the candidate packages submitted by members who want to run for office in 2009. The offices up for election will be: President Elect, VP Government, VP Law Enforcement, VP Private, Secretary, and Director. If you or someone you know is interested in running for office, the application should include a resume, a statement of goals for the APA, and a cover letter sent to Robbie Bennett at the APA National Office (PO Box 8037, Chattanooga, TN 37414-0037.) It must be received by January 15th. A vital organization needs new ideas and new energy, so I encourage any APA member who wants to see the organization move forward to throw her or his hat into the ring. Don
